The International Energy Agency has released a report exploring Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology and its essential contribution to net zero. The report describes how the acceleration of DAC technologies will create increasing opportunities to offset emissions which are traditionally difficult to mitigate. In addition, captured CO2 can be utilized as feedstock for a variety of low-carbon products.
